We Give You the Truth
If Brownstone is a fit, we will tell you which engagement tier makes sense and what the timeline looks like. If we are not a fit - maybe you need a bookkeeper, not an analyst, or maybe you are too early for BI investment - we will tell you that too, and point you toward the right resource.
What we will NOT do: Pressure you into a decision. Upsell you into a bigger package than you need. Tell you that you need a $10K dashboard when a $2K snapshot would solve your problem. Make you sit through a slide deck about our methodology.

How long does the discovery call take?
20-30 minutes. If we need more time to walk through your numbers, we will schedule a follow-up. We will not keep you longer than scheduled.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. If you have current financials (P&L, revenue reports, margin data), bring them. If not, we can still have a productive conversation about what you need.
What happens after the call?
If Brownstone is a fit, we will send you a proposal with the recommended engagement tier, timeline, and pricing. You take your time to review - no pressure, no follow-up calls unless you ask for them.
What if I am not ready to commit yet?
That is fine. The discovery call is free and there is no obligation. If you walk away with clarity on what you need - even if you decide to build it yourself or hire someone else - the call was worth it.
Do you work with businesses outside New York?
Yes. Brownstone serves clients nationwide. Discovery calls, strategy sessions, and dashboard delivery all happen remotely via Zoom.
What size businesses do you work with?
Our sweet spot is $500K-$10M in annual revenue. Below that, you may not need full BI yet. Above that, you may need a full-time analyst. But every business is different - if you are making decisions that affect real money, we can help.
